2. The left time 1
2.1. The two forms in English
The left time is the past time. The present tense is used for the present events and naturally the past tense is used for the past events. But in English not only the past tense but also the present perfect form (PrPF) is used. And the meanings of the two are explicitly different, that is, when the speaker uses the two, s/he has the explicit different feelings in mind.

The past tense is explained in 2.2 and 2.3 PrPF is in the next chapter.
