―Two cats were in Rickey's office. Sherry and Libre were talking about Bronx. Rickey was still in class.―
"What should we do?" Libre said looking worried.
"I have no choice but to make sure of it. Actually, he didn't go to the sports stadium today."
"He usually goes there. How can we make sure?" libre asked.
"Have you ever been to the veterinary science building?"
"No, I've never been there. How about you Sherry?"
"I have been there several times. I feel strange about going to the veterinary clinic, but let's go now."
"I don't know if Bronx is there? He had an operation."
"I think so, too. But it's worth going there."
―Sherry and Libre were walking along the street in the campus. After they walked for a while, the veterinary clinic in affiliation with the university came into sight.―
"Is that the veterinary clinic?" Libre asked.
"Yes."
"Where is the veterinary science building?"
"It's a bit farther from here."
To get to veterinary science, we have to go through the veterinary clinic.
Veterinary science is away from the veterinary clinic, at the end of the university.

"Have you ever been to the veterinary science building?"
「リバーは獣医学部に行ったことある？」
Have you ever 〜？ は、「今まで〜をしたことがありますか？」という意味です。これまででしたことがあるかどうか、相手に経験をたずねるときに使うことができます。
これは現在完了形の文と言います。「〜」には過去分詞がきます。

意味：〜をしたことがありますか

たとえば「今までに海外へ行ったことがありますか？」とたずねるときは、
Have you ever been abroad?
となります。
答えるときは、たずねられた文が現在完了形なので、Yes, I have. や No, I haven't. になります。
Have you ever been fishing?
（釣りをしたことがありますか？）
Yes, I have.
（はい、あります。）
Really? Let's go fishing next Sunday.
（本当に？じゃあ次の日曜日に釣りに行きましょう。）

"No, I've never been there. How about you Sherry?"
「ないよ、一度も行ったことない。シェリーはどうなの？」
How about you Sherry? は「シェリーはどうですか？」という意味です。
How about 〜？ は相手に提案をしたり、相手を誘ったりするのに使うことができますが、この場合のように相手の意見をたずねることもできます。

I feel strange about going to the veterinary clinic. は、「動物病院へ行くのには抵抗がある。」という意味です。
「strange」には「奇妙な」や、「変な」という意味があります。
「feel」に「strange」を続けて、「〜には抵抗がある。」という意味になります。
